FAQs
What is Arencia Fresh Blue Hyssop Rice Mochi Cleanser?
It is a mochi-textured facial cleanser designed to deep cleanse, gently exfoliate and help remove excess oil, impurities and pore buildup.
What are the main ingredients?
Key ingredients include Rice Powder, French Hyssop Extract, Sweet Almond Seed Meal, Kaolin, Green Tea Extract and Glycerin.
Which skin type is it best for?
YesStyle particularly recommends it for combination skin, while Arencia officially lists the cleanser as suitable for all skin types.
Does it help with blackheads and clogged pores?
Yes. The cleanser is designed to help remove pore buildup and blackheads through deep cleansing and gentle physical exfoliation.
Does it exfoliate the skin?
Yes. Rice Powder and Sweet Almond Seed Meal provide gentle physical exfoliation to help remove dead surface skin and improve rough texture.
How do I use it?
Take an appropriate amount, add water and work it into a rich lather. Gently massage over the face and neck, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. YesStyle describes it as an all-in-one daily cleanser, although users with very sensitive skin can adjust frequency according to their skin's tolerance.
Can it be used as a facial scrub?
Yes. Its rice powder and almond seed meal provide mild scrubbing action, allowing it to work as both a cleanser and gentle face scrub.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
YesStyle lists the cleanser as safe for sensitive skin, but it does contain fragrance and physical exfoliating particles, so very reactive skin may prefer to patch test first.
What is the mochi texture?
The cleanser is made through a traditional kneading process that creates its signature dense, stretchy rice cake-like texture for a rich and comfortable cleanse.
